“After nourishment, shelter and companionship, stories are the thing we need most in the world.” Philip Pullman

Whether you are already a professional storyteller, an amateur one or you are aware of the wide range applied storytelling has: education, inclusion, learning languages, marketing, health, etc, or simply you would like to take a closer look at this art form, we encourage you to enroll on this intensive workshop that will take place on Sunday March 19th 2017 in the headquarters of the RS9 theatre.

But, what is storytelling, anyhow?

Storytelling is the oldest art form in the world. Storytelling is at the root of every art form: we think in story form, make sense of our world in narrative. Performance storytelling can be a powerful experience, both entertaining and moving. Story is also the traditional medium of communication from generation to generation, a tool for education and therapy.

The program

Why Tell Stories. On the need for stories.
Choosing Stories. On repertoire.
Learning Stories. Learning about ourselves.
Telling Stories. Mirrors.

Seleccionando historias. Sobre el repertorio.
Aprendiendo las historias. Aprendiendo sobre nosotros mismos. Contando las historias. Espejos.
